TERMS
Last updated: 20 August 2026
These terms govern your purchase and use of services from Qualterandco Limited, trading as Qualter+Co (“we”, “us”, “our”). Qualterandco Limited is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17375553 with its registered office at 5 Crescent East, Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire, FY5 3LJ. You can reach us at mark@qualterco.com. By purchasing any of our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.
1. What we sell
We currently offer three paid services and one free one. The Five-Lens Diagnostic is free. Completing it creates no contract and no obligation on either side. The Operator Review is a ninety-minute advisory session, built on your completed diagnostic, followed by a one-page written summary delivered the next working day. The founding rate is £250 for the first ten purchasers, then £495. Three months of Fix Library access is included in the price. The Reckoning is a forty-five-minute follow-up session, normally taken around ninety days after an Operator Review. You rerun the diagnostic, and we review what has changed against where you started. £195. Buying an Operator Review creates no obligation to buy The Reckoning. The Fix Library is a monthly subscription giving access to our library of written Fixes and related material. £49 a month, with no minimum term. All prices are in pounds sterling. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. If that changes, prices on the site will say so at the point of purchase.
2. Booking sessions
Operator Review and Reckoning sessions are booked through our scheduling system after payment. The Operator Review requires at least four days’ notice between booking and the session itself, because the preparation depends on your completed diagnostic. The Operator Review is built on the diagnostic. You need to have completed it before the session. If you arrive at a session without a completed diagnostic, we will rearrange rather than run a session that cannot do its job. You may reschedule a session free of charge up to 48 hours before it starts, using the link in your booking confirmation. Inside 48 hours, contact us at mark@qualterco.com and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you miss a session without notice, we may treat the fee as earned, though in practice we will always try to rearrange first. If we need to reschedule, we will give you as much notice as we can and offer alternative times. If we cannot find a time that works for you, we will refund you in full.
3. Payment
Payment is taken in advance through Stripe. We do not store your card details; Stripe handles payment processing under its own terms. Fix Library subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
4. Refunds and cancellation
Sessions (Operator Review and The Reckoning). We make a simple promise: if a session is not worth more than it cost you, we refund it. To claim this, email mark@qualterco.com within 14 days of your session. We will not interrogate your reasons, though honest feedback helps us improve. This promise applies once per customer per service. Cooling-off before a session. If you buy a session and change your mind before it takes place, tell us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full, provided the session has not yet been delivered. If the session takes place within that 14-day period, you are asking us to deliver the service inside the cooling-off window, and the refund promise above applies instead. Fix Library. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, you keep access until then, and no further payments are taken. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time in a billing period. Fix Library access included with an Operator Review. The three months of included access is part of the Operator Review purchase and has no separate cash value. It is not refundable on its own, and cancelling it does not reduce the review price. Refunds are made to the original payment method and normally arrive within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
5. What our services are, and what they are not
Our services are business advisory in nature. They draw on operating experience and professional judgement, and they exist to help you make better decisions in your own business. They are not, and should not be treated as, financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or accountancy services. We are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Where a decision needs a regulated professional, a lawyer, an accountant, or a tax adviser, we will say so, and you should take that advice before acting. Decisions in your business remain yours. We help you interrogate them; we do not make them for you, and we are not responsible for the outcomes of decisions you take.
6. Your material and confidentiality
Anything you share with us in a diagnostic, a session, or correspondence is treated as confidential. We do not share it with third parties except where the law requires, or with service providers who process it on our behalf (such as our scheduling and payment providers) under appropriate protections. We may keep anonymised notes and patterns from our work to improve our services. Nothing that identifies you or your business is published or reused without your written permission.
7. Fix Library content and intellectual property
All content in the Fix Library, on this site, and in written summaries we provide is owned by Qualterandco Limited or its licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Fix Library content within your own business. You may share individual Fixes with colleagues inside your organisation. You may not republish, resell, or distribute the content outside your organisation, and you may not use it to build a competing product or service. Written summaries from sessions are yours to use freely within your business.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you arising from any service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity arising from your use of our services or your reliance on them. We provide the Fix Library “as is” and aim for high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned changes to content or structure are at our discretion.
9. Fair use and behaviour
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service where a working relationship is not viable, including abusive behaviour or attempts to misuse the refund promise. If we discontinue a service you have paid for and not received, we will refund the unused portion.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to purchases made after it is published. Changes do not apply retrospectively to services you have already bought.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, though nothing prevents either of us proposing something more sensible first, like a conversation.
12. Statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. If you are a consumer, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including cancellation rights described in section 4.
